Netflix has set a premiere date for 'The Survivors,' the anticipated six-part Australian mystery series based on Jane Harper's bestselling novel.
Created by acclaimed Australian showrunner Tony Ayres (“Fires,” “Clickbait,” “Stateless”), the series follows Kieran Elliott, whose life was forever altered when two people drowned and a young girl disappeared in his coastal hometown of Evelyn Bay. The discovery of a young woman’s body on the beach triggers a new investigation that threatens to expose long-held secrets, reveal the truth about the missing girl, and unmask a killer within the tight-knit community. The ensemble cast features Charlie Vickers and Yerin Ha in lead roles, supported by Australian screen veterans Robyn Malcolm, Damien Garvey, Thom Green, George Mason, Jess De Gouw, Miriama Smith, and Catherine McClements.
