He's a familiar face on our screens during the latter part of the week, often seen alongside co-host Naga Munchetty, and has even stepped in when colleagues couldn't make it to the iconic red sofa for the early morning shows. When Dan Walker exited the BBC in 2022, Charlie temporarily filled his shoes on the main weekday show before Jon Kay stepped in permanently.
