Charli XCX Confirms Rumor She Worked on New Music for Britney Spears

In January, Spears took to social media to say reports of her working on new music were false.

In a recent Watch What Happens Live episode, Charli confirmed speculations that she was involved in writing music for Spears' upcoming album, despite the pop icon's denial of having "random people" contribute to her songs. In the post, Spears also claimed to have ghostwritten more than a dozen songs for other singers and groups in recent years, pointing to her October memoir, The Woman In Me, in which she also discussed her music career.
