Charli XCX and Lorde Team Up for ‘Girl, So Confusing’ Remix
The two pop stars will drop a remix of Charli XCX's 'Girl, So Confusing,' which is widely speculated to be about Lorde, tonight.
On the track, which is widely speculated to be about Lorde, Charli conveys her complicated feelings about a fellow female singer, singing: “People say we’re alike/ They say we’ve got the same hair/ We talk about making music/ But I don’t know if it’s honest.” Lorde responds singing, “Well honestly I was speechless when I woke up to your voice note / You told me how you’ve been feeling / Let’s work it out on the remix.” Charli also discussed “Girl, So Confusing” on Matt Rogers and Bowen Yang’s “La Culturistas” podcast, teasing that she may soon reveal who it’s about.
