Charles Melton in Talks for A24 War Film From Directors Alex Garland and Ray Mendoza

The actor is eyeing the ensemble feature after earning widespread acclaim for his role in 'May December.'

Melton, who is known for his role on The CW’s Riverdale, received widespread acclaim for his performance in Todd Haynes’ 2023 film May December. The actor’s other credits include the films The Sun Is Also a Star, Bad Boys for Life and Secret Headquarters, in addition to appearing in the television series Poker Face and History of the World, Part II. THR broke the news last month that Garland is writing the 28 Days Later sequel entitled 28 Years Later that Danny Boyle will direct.
