In December, the Official Charts Company confirmed it to be the biggest debut album of the year in the U.K., bolstered by Roan’s stint as a support act on Olivia Rodrigo ‘s Guts tour. Now, The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess finds itself at the summit again this week following the release of a limited edition Blood Records LP version of the album. Earlier this month, Roan came first in the BBC Radio 1 Sound of 2025 list, an annual poll that recognizes rising artists with “the best chance of mainstream success.”
