Channel 4 axes another 'brilliant' prison drama series after only two seasons - leaving fans gutted: 'I loved that show!'


Fans were left devastated to learn Channel 4's Screw is gone for good - with actor Ben Tavassoli announcing the news on his Instagram post.

The series debuted in January 2020, and looked inside the life stories of staff members at Long Marsh, a male prison in Great Britain (pictured Nina Sosanya and Jamie-Lee O'Donnell) The prison drama show flaunted a stellar cast including Derry Girls favourite Jamie-Lee O'Donnell, as well as Islington-born Nina Sosanya, who is known for her stunning performances in Teacher and Last Tango In Halifax. BBC star Faraz Ayub played the role of Ali Shah, joined by theatre sensation Stephen Wight as Gary Campbell and Laura Checkley as Jackie Stokes.
