Chance Perdomo death: Gen V producers say they 'won't be recasting' late actor's character Andre Anderson 'because no one can replace Chance'


'We won't be recasting the role, because no one can replace Chance,' a statement on the show's Instagram account said.

The cast and producers were scheduled to gather on March 30, the day news broke of Perdomo's fatal accident in upstate New York, according to Deadline, as he was headed to Toronto to work on the show. In the spin-off to The Boys, Chance played Andre, who had magnetic manipulation super powers, alongside costars Jaz Sinclair, Lizze Broadway, Maddie Phillips, London Thor, Asa Germann and Shelley Conn. Chance's representatives gave a statement to Deadline that read: 'His passion for the arts and insatiable appetite for life was felt by all who knew him, and his warmth will carry on in those who he loved dearest.
