Celine Dion Makes 1st Onstage Appearance Since Olympics Comeback


Celine Dion talked about 'hope' in her first appearance back on stage since performing at the 2024 Paris Olympics opening ceremony

“I’m honored to have performed tonight, for the Paris 2024 Opening Ceremony, and so full of joy to be back in one of my very favorite cities,” she shared on social media on Friday, July 26. Michael Der for City of HopeThe Grammy winner opened up about her health battle in the Prime Video documentary I Am: Celine Dion, which was released in June. Dion shared details of her condition in an interview with Today ’s Hoda Kotb ahead of the film’s premiere, revealing that it felt like “somebody strangling you” when she tried to sing.
