Celine Dion Is ‘So Full of Joy’ After Olympics Opening Ceremony Performance


Celine Dion performed at the Paris Olympics Opening Ceremony, marking her first live performance since her health diagnosis in 2022

Many spectators are in total awe of Simone Biles — known as the GOAT in gymnastics — including one of her own Team USA athletes, climber Brooke Raboutou. Standing at the base of the Eiffel Tower, Dion delivered a powerful rendition of Edith Piaf ’s “Hymne à l’amour” to close the 2024 Paris Olympics Opening Ceremony. “I’m working hard with my sports medicine therapist every day to build back my strength and my ability to perform again, but I have to admit it’s been a struggle.”
