Celine Dion Gets Emotional After Documentary Screening Standing Ovation: ‘I Hope to See You All Again Very, Very Soon’
Celine Dion was moved to tears after she received a standing ovation at the New York screening of her Amazon MGM documentary, “I Am: Celine Dion.”
According to a press release from Amazon MGM Studios, the film will also “highlight the music that has guided [Céline’s] life while also showcasing the resilience of the human spirit.” Since December 2022, the “My Heart Will Go On” singer has remained largely out of the public eye due to her diagnosis with Stiff Person Syndrome, a rare neurological disorder known for causing uncontrolled muscle spasms that make it hard to move. “Today the world recognizes International SPS Awareness Day,” Dion wrote on Instagram alongside a photo of her smiling with her three sons.
