Celine Dion breaks down over 'rare' health condition: 'It's been a struggle'

Celine Dion has opened up about her health battle in a new documentary, admitting that 'every day has been a struggle' since she was diagnosed with Stiff Person's Syndrome

The 56 year old icon's documentary is set to premiere on June 25, signalling a tentative step back into the limelight following a period of privacy post-diagnosis, except for a notable appearance at the Grammy Awards in February. Opening up about the process of creating her documentary, Celine recently shared: "This last couple of years has been such a challenge for me, the journey from discovering my condition to learning how to live with and manage it, but not to let it define me. "This documentary is a raw, intimate portrayal of a pivotal time in her personal life and career, pulling back the curtain on her journey as she overcomes an unthinkable diagnosis.
