Celebs Go Dating's explosive behind the scenes secrets - from forbidden romance to star's special treatment
One of our favourite shows, Celebs Go Dating – where famous faces meet singletons who are also looking for love – will be back later this summer on E4. The latest series stars former Corrie regular Helen Flanagan, Gogglebox icon Stephen Webb – who recently announced his divorce from husband Daniel Lustig – singer and Hollyoaks actress Jamelia, Love Island ’s Chris Taylor, Married At First Sight UK’s Ella Morgan and Made In Chelsea star Tristan Phipps.
It has been a common theme for celebs to be attracted to one another, have secret dalliances and, in the case of the last series – with Lottie Moss and Love Island’s Adam Collard – have a full-blown romance. As new reported recently, Helen’s friends were concerned about whether she was ready for the show after a really tough couple of years since splitting with her ex Scott Sinclair. “It is always easier for celebs to choose one another rather than go through the nerve-wracking process of dating strangers, but there isn’t a good record for couplings on the show, so it is not encouraged.
