Jack P Shepherd is best known for playing hairdresser David Platt on ITV's Coronation Street with the actor having joined the cobbles over 25 years ago. His alter-ego David, previously found himself involved in some tense storylines, more recently he was struck down by a vehicle during a Weatherfield scam with the culprit fleeing the scene and leaving him for dead in the road, fortunately the hit-and-run didn't prove to be fatal and his character lived on. He has very much been a staple on our screens ever since and despite his questionable antics over the decades, fans can't help but fall in love with Jack's character David, having watched him grow over the years.
