Celebrity Big Brother has received over 1,000 Ofcom complaints following the episode which saw now axed housemate Mickey Rourke make a homophobic slur towards JoJo Siwa

Celebrity Big Brother is facing an Ofcom storm as they received 1,010 complaints over a fiery episode that aired on April 9, where viewers watched in discomfort as Mickey Rourke let slip homophobic jibes directed at JoJo Siwa. The Hollywood actor faced an abrupt exit from the show on Saturday (12 April) night after his actions were labelled aggressive and threatening towards reality star turned presenter, Chris Hughes.
