Celebrities Aren’t the Only Ones Saving Historic Cinemas

Historic movie theaters across the U.S. are being saved by celebrities, film festivals and organizations hoping to lure a new generation of filmgoers.

Permar is bringing in comedy, live music, elementary school graduations, fake snow, a film club, maybe a burlesque show — anything that will help lure Raleigh residents.
