CBS Orders Zarna Garg Comedy Pilot, Mindy Kaling & Kevin Hart to Produce
Zarna Garg is set to star in a multi-cam comedy pilot that has been ordered at CBS, Variety has learned.
The official logline for the pilot states, “Zarna is a proud immigrant woman who’s been raising her American born kids on Indian values. Garg is a celebrated stand up comedian, most recently releasing the comedy special “One in a Billion” in 2023 on Amazon Prime Video. The broadcaster previously ordered the single-cam comedy pilot “DMV” with an ensemble cast that includes Tim Meadows, Harriet Dyer, Molly Kearney, Alex Tarrant, Tony Cavalero, and Gigi Zumbado.
