CBS Announces Another Beloved Show Is Ending After ‘Blue Bloods’ Cancellation: ‘Farewell’
CBS has revealed that another show will be ending after a slew of cancellations and major announcements. Which television show is the latest to get the ax?
The good news is, the season 7 finale will serve as a “backdoor pilot” for a potential spinoff of the show before Marty and Malcolm move to Venice, Deadline reported. “The series centers on its titular character, Francois ‘Frank’ Crutchfield (Morgan) – or ‘Crutch’ to those that know him well – a Harlem widower whose empty nest plans are put on hold after his millennial son and free-spirited daughter move back home,” the synopsis says. Morgan plays Crutch a ‘say-it-like-it-is’ widowed father who is challenged when his two adult children and a couple of grandchildren need to move back home, and let’s say there will be several comedic complications.”
