CBC Stocks Streamer Gem With Euro Dramas ‘All And Eva,’ ‘Cheaters’ & ‘Families Like Ours’
CBC Gem has bought British comedy-drama 'Cheaters', and 'All and Eva' and 'Families Like Ours' and will launch them in November.
It is created, written and directed by Johanna Runevard ( Vi Forever, Kaos) and stars Tuva Novotny ( Annihilation, Eat Pray Love), Joachim Fjelstrup ( The Dreamer – Becoming Karen Blixen, Tove’s Room), Sanna Sundqvist ( Call Mom!, Thank You, I’m Sorry) and Bengt Braskered ( Familjen, Sound of Noise). It is written by Oliver Lyttelton ( Wedding Season) and stars Joshua McGuire ( Lovesick, About Time), Susan Wokoma ( Enola Holmes, Crazyhead), Callie Cooke ( Britannia, The Stranger) and Jack Fox ( Riviera, Sanditon). It is is from Oscar-winning director Thomas Vinterberg ( Another Round, The Celebration) and envisions Denmark in the not-too-distant future, as a family copes with mandatory evacuation due to rising water levels.
