CBB's Marisha Wallace fights back tears as she reveals she was scammed out of £60k by man she was dating
Celebrity Big Brother and musical theatre star Marisha Wallace has emotionally spoken about how she was scammed by a man she was dating, in a bid to help others avoid scams
She explained that when she moved from New York to London in 2018, she began dating a man she met on Bumble, who she described as “supportive” as she was going through a divorce at the time. Marisha talked about how she was scammed on This Morning (Image: Ken McKay/ITV/REX/Shutterstock)However, while she was filming a small role in the 2019 adaptation of Aladdin, starring Will Smith, she sensed something was wrong, and discovered her instinct was correct. Without revealing to him that she knew she had been scammed, Marisha then gathered all the evidence she had, such as recorded phone conversations and texts, and passed them on to the police.
