Cate Blanchett Sets Return To London Stage With Adaptation Of Chekhov’s ‘The Seagull’
Blanchett will star in an adaptation of Chekhov's ‘The Seagull’ at the Barbican.
He added: “I am thrilled that we will make our first artistic collaboration with this production of The Seagull at the Barbican, and that London will experience this once-in-a-generation actress in one of the greatest theatrical roles of Arkadina. The high-stakes mystery stars Blanchett and Michael Fassbender alongside Regé-Jean Page, Marisa Abela, Naomie Harris, Burke, and Pierce Brosnan. Written and directed by Cuarón, Disclaimer is based on the best-selling novel of the same name by Renée Knight and follows journalist Catherine Ravenscroft (Blanchett), who built her reputation revealing the misdeeds and transgressions of others.
