Two years after her exit from Corrie, Melanie hinted at a return to the hit ITV soap after sharing a snap alongside her former co-star David Neilson, who plays Roy Cropper. Melanie has been an icon of British TV, rising to fame as the quirky Aveline Boswell in the beloved 80s sitcom Bread, alongside the talented Jean Boht. Now partnered up with writer and TV producer Jimmy Daly, Melanie is mum to her daughters Lorna and Molly from her former marriage to the acclaimed actor Sean Bean.
