Carrie's ‘Sex and the City’ Wedding Dress Found at Thrift Shop for $19
One TikToker thrifted a Vera Wang wedding dress from the ‘Sex and the City’ movie, detailing her find and plans to sell it
Ashley Cano, who often thrifts pieces and sells them on Poshmark, shared her find via TikTok, which appears to be the Vera Wang dress that Bradshaw (played by Sarah Jessica Parker) wore during her bridal-themed Vogue photoshoot before her (almost) wedding to Mr. Big. While Cano is a frequent thrifter, she was stunned to find a Vera Wang wedding dress, which is considered the holy grail in the world of bridal, let alone an iconic Sex and the City-famous style. In the movie, Bradshaw models the drop-waist strapless ‘Eleanor’ gown on a chaise lounge so that the camera could capture the dramatic tulle-flower embroidered skirt, which the designer created to give it an “artistic back sweep,” according to Wang’s lookbook.
