Carrie Underwood, Papa Roach Raise Awareness for Suicide Prevention With New Collab

Papa Roach recruit Carrie Underwood to sing on a new version of their song 'Leave a Light On (Talk Away the Dark),' in support of suicide prevention.

The song originally appeared on Papa Roach’s 2022 album Ego Trip and became an anthem for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. “It’s a beautiful song and the message behind it and the band’s mission to shine a light on suicide prevention and mental health awareness has never been more important.” And on Thursday, the former American Idol winner made it official that she was joining the singing competition as a judge, replacing Katy Perry at the table next to fellow country singer Luke Bryan and Lionel Richie.
