Carrie Underwood Sings A Capella After Tech Issues at Trump’s Inauguration


Carrie Underwood sang ‘America the Beautiful’ at the second presidential inauguration of Donald Trump on Monday, January 20

Other performances at the inauguration included Lee Greenwood’s “God Bless the USA” and opera singer Christopher Macchio’s rendition of the national anthem. Since winning American Idol, Carrie Underwood’s life has been so much more than “Just a Dream.” The Oklahoma native shot to fame in 2005 after becoming the champion of the TV singing competition’s fourth season. During Trump’s 2017 inauguration ceremony, The Tabernacle Choir at Temple Square performed “America the Beautiful,” while Jackie Evancho sang the national anthem.
