Carrie Underwood Makes Surprise Return to CMA Awards for Cody Johnson Duet


Carrie Underwood made a surprise return to the 2024 CMA Awards to sing her and Cody Johnson’s duet ‘I’m Gonna Love You’

While Johnson, 37, was introduced solo by hosts Luke Bryan, Lainey Wilson and Peyton Manning, the country singer had Underwood, 41, join him to perform their duet “I’m Gonna Love You.” The ceremony is being held at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee, on Wednesday, November 20, with returning hosts Luke Bryan and Peyton Manning sharing their duties with their new cohost, Lainey Wilson.
