The duo made their date night one to remember as the American Idol winner-turned-host, 42, donned a strapless black mini dress, while sheer fabric fell on top, wrapping around one shoulder and exposing a leg with a thigh-high slit as gold embellishments lit up the outfit on Wednesday, March 19. As for Carrie’s date night with Mike, it was just as big of a deal as her performance since the last time he walked the red carpet with her was at the 56th annual CMA Awards in November 2022. “Kids need structure so for the most part they’ll stay at home while Carrie’s traveling,” a third source said of the “Before He Cheats” singer’s jam-packed work schedule prior to her American Idol gig and extended Las Vegas residency.
