Carrie Fisher's daughter Billie Lourd reveals sweet way her children honor the late actress on Star Wars Day

Billie Lourd, the only child of Carrie Fisher, revealed her family's loving way of remembering her late mother for Star Wars Day on Sunday.

The abundant wit that helped make Fisher a popular novelist also allowed her to become an in-demand script doctor who would punch up preexisting screenplays, included work on Steven Spielberg's Hook, Sister Act and The Wedding Singer, though she wasn't credited for any of those films. Both returned for 2017's The Last Jedi, and Billie continued on with the final film in the series, 2019's The Rise Of Skywalker, in which she both reprised her part as Lieutenant Kaydel Ko Connix and also portrayed a young version of her mother's character, Princess Leia, which was augmented with computer-generated effects. Billie has also appeared in Booksmart, Ticket To Paradise and The Last Showgirl, while her television work has included major parts of Ryan Murphy's shows Scream Queens and multiple seasons of American Horror Story.
