When Artem appeared as a professional dancer on DWTS, Carrie Ann occasionally faced backlash for her criticism of his dances. In a 2015 Dancing With the Stars blog post for Parade, she said that in celebration of the season 20 premiere, she “received beautiful flowers from my agent, the producers, my mom and my boyfriend Tony, who is in Italy at the moment,” adding, “The whole day felt positive.” Carrie Ann got engaged for the second time when Robb popped the question on December 10, 2016, at the same place they had their first date: a beach cove along the California coast.
