Caroline Flack's mother's hunt for answers has left friends fearing being 'thrown under bus', sources tell KATIE HIND - as she raises most controversial question of all
'Some of the people who have been approached believe this is an attempt to rewrite history and find someone new to blame for this total tragedy,' a source told Kate Hind.
When a former aide of Caroline Flack found herself being interviewed by the star's mother during filming for a new documentary, she expected a pleasant chat reminiscing about the late Love Island presenter. Instead, those familiar with the show say there are concerns it could end up 'throwing its participants under the bus' as Christine attempts (for perfectly understandable reasons) to find answers for her daughter's death in February 2020, just three weeks before she was due to stand trial for assaulting her then boyfriend, Lewis Burton, in a late-night bust-up at her north-London flat. As a result of the lack of uptake, I'm told Christine is getting frustrated because of the production delays that it is causing, but a source said: 'Caroline's death has haunted her friends and changed their lives, there is a view that she should just be left to rest in peace.
