Kate Middleton’s mother, Carole Middleton, has stayed by her daughter’s side during her cancer battle and treatment
Buckingham Palace announced in February 2024 that King Charles III received a cancer diagnosis one week after he was admitted to The London Clinic to undergo treatment for an enlarged prostate. News broke of Kate’s health challenges in January when the palace revealed that she had undergone abdominal surgery and had canceled her planned public appearances to recuperate. “The surgery was successful, and it is expected that she will remain in hospital for ten to fourteen days, before returning home to continue her recovery,” the palace said in a statement at the time.
