Carol was diagnosed with an aggressive form of breast cancer 10 years ago but fast-forward a decade and the TV presenter not only looks, but feels better than ever.

Now, the couple are enjoying every moment of their idyllic French lifestyle - which includes the odd tipple of wine - and being happy and healthy. When asked if she ever feels self-conscious in a bikini, Carol laughed: " Not about the fact that I’ve only got one boob, no! "It’s only when I became a teenager that I realised it’s quite possible to put weight on if I ate a lot of crap – it was a real revelation.
