Carol Kane pays tribute to the 'supportive and kind' Shelley Duvall after her death at 75...  after famously introducing late actress to Jack Nicholson

Carol Kane is reflecting on the life of Shelley Duvall.

Reflecting on the duo's friendship, Carol told the outlet that she and Shelley used to dine at a restaurant - no longer in service - called the Aware Inn on Sunset Boulevard 'back in the day.' Carol starred in the Sleeping Beauty episode of Shelley's Faerie Tale Theater, a live-action drama series, and shared about the six-season run: 'That was an extraordinary show that she put together.' Shelley noted that she left the industry and moved back to Fort Worth, Texas after her brother was diagnosed with spinal cancer and the movie offers began to dry up, explaining: 'It's the longest sabbatical I ever took but it was for really important reasons - to get in touch with my family again.'
