Carnie Wilson says the negative comments being made about her daughter's American Idol audition angered her

Former American Idol star Emmy Russell has revealed her anger over being asked to sing one of her grandmother Loretta Lynn‘s country music hits on the ABC show. American Idol is arguably television’s biggest, most influential platform for emerging artists over the past 23 years – including relatives of some very famous faces. In addition to Lola being the daughter of Carnie and Rob, she is also the granddaughter of Beach Boys legend Brian Wilson and American Spring singer Marilyn Wilson-Rutherford.
