Wilson Phillips singer Carnie Wilson celebrated daughter Lola's 'pure beautiful voice' following her 'American Idol' season 23 audition
Wilson uploaded a photo of herself celebrating with Lola, 19, after she earned her ticket to Hollywood from judges Carrie Underwood, Luke Bryan and Lionel Richie. American Idol is arguably television’s biggest, most influential platform for emerging artists over the past 23 years – including relatives of some very famous faces. Bryan said the song perfectly suited “the tone and the pureness” of Lola’s voice, while Richie encouraged her to “hold the story out longer.”
