Carin León Charms 2024 Latin Grammys with ‘Despídase Bien’ Performance
Carin León charmed the 2024 Latin Grammys with a passionate live performance of his song "Despidase Bien," backed by a passionate gospel group.
Wearing a wine-colored suit and black cowboy hat with matching boots, the Mexican singer-songwriter was joined by a large gospel choir and rocking band, who powerfully backed up his heartfelt lyrics. A notable part of the performance was toward the end when the gospel group wore traditional artisan masks from Hermosillo, Mexico in honor of León’s native town. The ceremony is set to feature performances from Alejandro Fernández, Becky G, Carín León, Eladio Carrión, Jon Bon Jovi, Kali Uchis and Residente, among others.
