Carey Mulligan ‘Just Started’ Filming ‘Beef’ Season 2 and Says ‘Almost Everything’ Is Different, Says She Won’t Appear in Emerald Fennell’s ‘Wuthering Heights’
Carey Mulligan joined the Variety Studio presented by Audible at Sundance and said she won't appear in Emerald Fennel's "Wuthering Heights."
The show’s second season will feature a new storyline and an entirely new cast, headlined by Mulligan, Oscar Isaac (with whom she starred in the Coen Bros.’ “Inside LLewyn Davis”), Charles Melton and Cailee Spaeny. Mulligan is at Sundance this year with her supporting role in “The Ballad of Wallis Island,” directed by James Griffiths from a script by Tom Basden and Tim Key. The movie centers on an eccentric lottery winner who invites his two favorite musicians to play a private show on his remote island.
