The hip-hop stars effectively dispelled any rumors that there may be beef between them when the 24-year-old “Munch” rapper tweeted photos they took together at the 2024 Vanity Fair Oscars party in March. At one point, Cardi tweeted, “I asked you why you feel comfortable calling me a Mexican when ice and Jharrel Jerome Zoe Saldana are Dominicans and you don’t do that to them.” Cardi recently appeared on Shakira’s new album Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran, guesting on the project’s opening track, “Puntería.” Earlier this year, she also released the singles “Enough (Miami)” and “Like What (Freestyle).”
