Captain America Star Chris Evans Defends Marvel Movies Amid Backlash


Does the MCU get too much hate? Captain America star Chris Evans spoke on how he thinks Marvel deserves more credit than it gets in the public discourse.

While not every Marvel movie these days makes back their massive budget (especially during the strikes), even films like Thor: Love & Thunder score high with audiences on sites like Rotten Tomatoes. Thunderbolt Ross(Harrison Ford) and The Leader(Tim Blake Nelson) are expected to serve as the main villains of the movie, which is currently in production for a February 2025 release. The cast of the movie also includes Carl Lumbly as Isaiah Bradley and Shira Haas as Sabra, with Xosha Roquemore on board in an undisclosed role.
