Canneseries Winner Amir Chamdin To Direct Mafia Movie ‘Corleone’ For U.S., Italian & German Producers


Filming is being lined up next spring on the movie which is set in the US and Italy.

EXCLUSIVE: Swedish director Amir Chamdin, whose drama Partisan won Best Series at the 2020 Canneseries market, has signed on to direct Corleone, an action-thriller set in the United States and Sicily. Chamdin most recently directed ballet Gustavia, which premiered at the Royal Opera House in Stockholm this past October. Adams most recently finished showrunning the TV Series Mr. Birchum and has produced films including The 24 Hour War and Morgan Freeman’s Vanquish.
