Cannes Frontières Title ‘Above The Knee’ & Aussie Horror ‘Baal’ Land Sales Deals Ahead Of Beyond Fest Debuts
Blue Finch Films has taken rights to both films before their Beyond Fest debuts.
The film follows Amir, whose life with his beautiful girlfriend looks perfect but in reality, he is harboring a dark secret he knows no one will understand – ever since he can remember he has felt his left leg doesn’t belong to him. The official synopsis reads: Grace makes her way closer to this mysterious hiker – but suspicions about their true identity start to manifest. Blue Finch’s international slate also includes Sitges title Zero from the director of Saloum, Oddity which won the Midnighter Audience Award at SXSW 2024, and Adilkhan Yerzhanov’s violent thriller Steppenwolf.
