Candace Cameron Bure Says Scary Movies Are a Portal to Demons

Candace Cameron Bure explained why she banned scary movies from her house, calling them a 'portal' to demons in a candid discussion on her podcast

Scary movies aren’t for everyone — some people have nightmares, others hate jump scares and Candace Cameron Bure is afraid of opening a portal to demons in her living room. “I don’t even want someone watching a scary movie in our house on the TV because to me that’s just a portal,” Bure, who is open about being a Christian, explained to her guests, son Lev and Pastor Jonathan Pokluda. Cameron Bure was part of the Hallmark family for 13 years before she announced in April 2022 that she was leaving to join former CEO Bill Abbott at Great American Media.
