Canadian Distributor New Mountain Films Launches, Former Alliance & eOne Exec Spearheads Marketing
A new Canadian indie film distributor is launching in the shape of New Mountain Films.
The company says it is “committed to building a diverse slate of films for both the Canadian and U.S. markets, and has a mandate of distributing world-class content that not only drives corporate growth but also inspires positive social change”. Sabbour’s credits include TV series Restaurants On The Edge and Blown Away, and upcoming films Pins & Needles and Please, After You, both made under his East Liberty Entertainment banner. Mendcino has worked on movie campaigns including the Lord Of The Rings trilogy, Passchendaele by Paul Gross and Atom Egoyan’s The Sweet Hereafter.
