Camilla's fears over being 'left alone' after Charles' health scare: 'She's lost without him'

EXCLUSIVE: Queen Camilla's journey has been one for the history books - as royal expert Jennie Bond reflects on why she would have felt "lost" without the King - and why she's proving the late Queen right

Queen Camilla looked happy and relaxed as they left the hospital for Clarence House, no doubt feeling huge relief that this worrying episode was over and she could welcome her beloved husband back home again. As well as proving that the days of isolated royal hospital stays are firmly in the past, she adds that the pressured experience of seeing her 75 year old husband in surgeons’ care will have served as a wake up call for the Queen. Filming has already begun on the programme and is understood to heavily feature Camilla’s work as a modern and unconventional consort as she tackles a subject which the royal family wouldn’t have previously aligned themselves with.
