Camila Mendes exits Sony's 'I Know What You Did Last Summer' reboot due to a scheduling conflict as the 'Riverdale' actress is starring in 'Masters of the Universe'.
Deadline previously reported that Madelyn Cline, Sarah Pidgeon, Tyriq Withers and Jonah Hauer-King are set to star in I Know What You Did Last Summer, and that Sony was having talks with Jennifer Love Hewitt and Freddie Prinze Jr. reprising their roles. Back in June, we told you first that Mendes and Happy Death Day actress Rachel Matthews launched Honor Role, a new feature film and TV production company devoted to dynamic, character-driven stories crafted by sharp filmmakers with distinct points-of-views. The CAA, Luber Roklin Entertainment and Hansen, Jacobson, Teller, Hoberman, Newman, Warren, Richman, Rush, Kaller, Gellman, Meigs & Fox repped actress starred in 136 episodes of CW’s hit series Riverdale as Veronica Lodge.
