The songwriter — who was recently rumored to have started dating Drake — later spent time at the IndieWire Sundance Studio, where she was pictured alongside her Rob Peace costars Jay Will and Chiwetel Ejiofor. The movie is centered on a young Black man who escaped a troubled lifestyle to attend Yale University, only to later be murdered in a basement outside of his hometown of Newark, New Jersey. Other performers, including Mary J. Blige and Michael Kelly, round out the movie's cast, and Antoine Fuqua serves as one of its producers.
