Calvin Harris 'buys unassuming Scottish pub where he used to drink before hitting the big time'
Calvin Harris has bought the Scottish pub he used to frequent before amassing his £230 million fortune. He could not pass up the opportunity to own the Coach & Horses pub in Dumfries.
The DJ is reported to have gone into business with his best friend Mark Irving to take over the local, which is said to be thriving despite the economic challenges obliterating many boozers in the UK. Calvin's love of the local was previously revealed by former landlord, John Owens, who knew the star by his real name, Adam Wiles. The DJ wrote: 'Wouldn’t dream of encouraging anyone to drink 2 bottle of JD a night and live off Greggs the baker got me in a right old state my dear [sic].'
