Call the Midwife favourite teams up with EastEnders star for new ITV crime drama

Strictly winner Rose Ayling-Ellis has taken the entertainment world by storm since her 2021 victory. Now, she's leading her own series on ITV with a familiar face.

Andrew Buchan, on the other hand, plays DI James Marsh, a police officer more focused on solving the case than understanding Alison's specific needs due to her deafness. The show weaves a narrative that transcends mere detective work, peering into the intricacies of Alison’s personal life and threading in Kieron Moore as Liam, the leading man in her romantic storyline. While shooting in Canterbury, where she previously studied, Rose made it her mission to teach the crew a new sign language word daily, fostering inclusivity and communication.
