CAA Signs Margaret Zhang, Departing Vogue China Editor-in-Chief (EXCLUSIVE)

Margaret Zhang, who is slated to depart her role as Vogue China editor-in-chief, signs with CAA for representation as a filmmaker, writer & producer.

Zhang also established the “Her Lens” workshop and masterclass program, allowing directors and producers to refine their pitches before a panel of industry mentors, which included actors, producers, and financiers like Dilraba Dilmurat, Ni Ni, Chase Sui Wonders and Charles Melton. Through her work as a director, photographer, consultant and writer, Zhang built a combined global audience of over 1.7 million, which has since multiplied. In 2016, she co-founded Background, a global consultancy specializing in bridging Western and Chinese cultures for luxury, lifestyle and branding projects.
