The legendary performer teamed with Swizz Beatz and DJ Scratch to put out the official New York Knicks Anthem just before Memorial Day weekend. On the other hand, the few who remained optimistic were among some diamond-in-the-rough Knicks fans who saw the anthem as a rallying cry for the team to bounce back. Among other worthy mention were, “This why they lost,” and, “They don’t need an anthem, they need to win a game.” Even the biggest pros could barely resist the sarcasm of, “Built to beat the Celtics… but not the Pacers, apparently.” With sports slander, the internet’s winner is never questioned.
